Background:
Mr. Tweedle first presented with symptoms at age 23. He reports experiencing periods of dissociation and memory loss since adolescence. The patient exhibits two distinct alter personalities, colloquially referred to as "Tweedle Dee" and "Tweedle Dum."
Alter Personalities:
1. "Tweedle Dum": Presents as jovial, optimistic, and childlike. Often speaks in rhymes and riddles.
2. "Tweedle Dee": Manifests as more serious, literal-minded, and prone to pessimism.
Treatment History:
- Ongoing psychotherapy since unknown
