The Irish music community lost a legend in Irish music. Dennis Cahill, a native of Chicago and one of the finest Irish guitarists in the world, passed away this past week. President Higgins says Cahill brought a "unique style to his guitar playing, while being deeply respectful of the essence of traditional Irish music". Cahill, along with his close friend and fellow musician, appeared on Windy City Irish Radio many years ago. In honor of Dennis and musical legacy, we pay tribute to Dennis Cahill.
