Episode 140
The Wings surprised everyone with two big wins in a row against very respectable teams, but then followed up with a loss to a team that has been out of the playoff picture since week 1.
The 7-5 win against Winnipeg was….something. It almost seemed like they tried giving the win away multiple times and finally decided to finish. The 4-1 win against Toronto was very impressive. The Leafs are a hot team with a ton of star power and we kept them to one goal. The 4-3 loss against Columbus was an admirable attempt at a comeback, but it was too little too late after being down 4-0.
The Wings begin their busy, 4-game week with a west coast trip, stopping in Colorado, Arizona, and Vegas. After the road trip, they come home and face the Flyers. Dustin, Tyler, and Connor are all in agreement that this week will bring a 2-2 record. Let’s hope for better!
