#270: The Purgatory Between Expansions

Nick, Rei, and Kurabara are back this week to talk about Patch 11.0 while Eric is home sick. Feel better! They begin the show by talking about their experiences in the pre-patch and in particular discuss Warbands. Nick talks about how he likes just swapping his characters in and out on the screen. They talk about how managing a long list of characters from various realms is now a struggle and wish for some improvements to the character select screen.
Next, they talk about cross-realm guilds and how that will help complete guild accomplishments, but people need to pay attention to how many non-guild members are present. They then talk about some of the bugs in the pre-patch, including Sylvanas being broken in Sanctum of Domination and the turtle quests in BfA not having any enemies.
They also talk about MoP: Remix and how everyone is wrapping up getting everything. There are some reputation issues that may have been affected by the patch, but otherwise everything is going smoothly. Rei talks about running some heroic raids in Remix with some good pug groups.
Kura talks about his experience getting his Collectors Edition and how he missed getting his code for the Epic Edition at first. They talk about the value of the statue and the quality of its production, and whether or not its worth it.
They then talk about the new War Within cinematic and their thoughts on how the cinematics have been handled the last few expansions. They also talk about the World of Warcraft team unionizing.
Finally, they look back 100 episodes to their reactions to patch 9.0.
