Thoughts as idle escapism severed from the reality of toil. The danger of self-fulfilling beliefs. Be careful what you wish for. Speak of the devil and the devil appears. The unintended consequences to getting what you want. An unfortunate individual trapped in their circumstances by negative thinking; or conversely, an unfortunate individual who through persistence and hard work, turns their luck around. The difficult nature of blazing new intellectual or spiritual ground. Reaping the rewards of long, sustained, bitter labor. A pioneer clearing a new path through blood sweat and tears. A bad end of a deal: unbalanced emotional attachments, allegiances, or partnerships. Being led on under false pretenses, a brutal lesson in trust. Doubt and disappointment with life’s realities. Inability to communicate insights and aspirations. Frustrating, cumbersome situation where skills don't match potential. Patiently searching for an environment where one can thrive. Life lived selflessly. The gap between reaping and sowing. Delayed rewards. Weaving current struggle with the inner confidence of future dreams coming true.
