Unexpectedly diagnosed with a severe case of Guillain-Barré Syndrome, Chris Maxwell joins Chelsea 5:45 minutes in to talk about having his ego stripped away while he was in the hands of everyone else, letting go of control and prioritizing connection by becoming relational about everything, how trauma is 1000 points of separation and recovery is 1000 points of reconnection, finding his way back to his wife and learning to spiral upward together as patient and caretaker, and why having our eyes raised to the horizon is essential for thriving not only together but separately.
