I am so honored to bring you this interview with Dr. Alisa Van Langeveld is a professor, parent expert and mom of 4. She is also the founder of “10 Minutes Together” where she teaches real parenting skills focused on the power of one-on-one connection. Alisa has taught thousands of university students about child development, parenting and human relationships. She’s taking all that research and distilling it down to the most important stuff to share with you. You can follow her and learn from her by following her on IG. In this episode she teaches us how to take 10 minutes a day to connect with our kids in a mindful way while learning how to parent ourselves so we can parent our children.
This episode was so powerful and healing for me especially as a working mom who coparents and has her kids 50% of the time hearing the science behind creating a secure connection with my girls and how that helps them feel safe, loved, seen and heard was beautiful!
