This episode's guest is Michelle Boland from Michelle Boland Training (MBT).
Michelle grew up in central Massachusetts where her interest for athletics and playing sports began. Michelle played soccer, basketball, and ran track at the collegiate level while studying Nutrition. After reflecting on her life passion for athletics and sports performance training, she decided to pursue a higher education degree in strength and conditioning (M.S.) and exercise physiology (PhD) at Springfield College (MA).

Michelle has had several years of professional experience as a strength and conditioning coach at a Division 1 institution working with a nationally ranked top 5 Women’s Ice Hockey team, a nationally ranked top 10 Men’s Ice Hockey team, and other teams including Field Hockey, Women’s Soccer, and Men’s Basketball. Michelle then created her own company, Michelle Boland Training, in order to support others in achieving their performance and fitness goals to the best of her abilities.

On this episode Michelle and I discuss:

  • Michelle's background
  • I ask Michelle about her "Strategy" course
  • I ask Michelle about her biggest influences
  • I ask Michelle about her training system
  • I ask Michelle how she has evolved as a coach and person
  • I ask Michelle about her decision making process throughout her coaching career and life
  • I ask Michelle if she could share with us any resources that could help people in their decision making processes
  • Michelle and I discuss core values and fulfillment
  • I ask Michelle how she learns?
  • I ask Michelle, if she could invite 5 people to dinner, dead of alive, who would she invite and why?

This was a great discussion with Michelle and I hope you guys really enjoy it.
Stay Strong,
RB
