Une équipe d'astrophysiciens a pu estimer la masse du Grand Nuage de Magellan (LMC) en utilisant la cinématique de 30 amas globulaires de la galaxie naine. Ils ont effectué cette mesure en combinant les mouvements propres mesurés avec le télescope Hubble et le télescope Gaia. Ils publient leur étude dans The Astrophysical Journal.
