First delivered in August 2005, DISCOVER HOMETOWN Magazine is published quarterly by Annamarie Jakubielski and is part of a family-owned business located in beautiful Western North Carolina. Over the years, DISCOVER HOMETOWN has grown to be the local savings and information resource guide everyone looks forward to receiving and using to save money, spot a deal, and discover a new business.
We publish DISCOVER HOMETOWN Magazine because we enjoy connecting people, building relationships, and helping others to support the local economy. We choose great quality partners and produce an attractive, well-received magazine.
With each issue, readers discover new businesses, and they are reminded of old favorites through coupons, information, and promotions from small businesses. Our advertisers run the gamut, from health and wellness establishments to restaurants, specialty shops, professionals, fun for the family, home repairs, and more. And because we have a heart for our local nonprofits, we do our part to connect them with volunteers and the locals they serve.
