I may have underestimated the power & significance of introversion (being introverted), as well as underestimated the lack of knowledge that extroverts have about us introverts. Now that I've been "going out" a lot more this past few weeks, it's dawning on me just how very super introverted I (still) am, despite having developed all my social skills and confidence and "I don't give a f*ck" attitude this past few years.
It's not just that I *want* time to myself, it's that I fundamentally *need* time to myself. I reckon this is the case for most all introverts, and it's something extroverts need to understand & respect.
