- Ryan is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) through the National Board for Certified Counselors. He holds a Master of Arts degree in clinical mental health counseling from Liberty University, where he graduated with high distinction honors.

- Ryan shares his perception of therapy as a male. For Ryan, the depression had reached the point where he felt he needed it.
- He worked as a real estate agent for about a decade before pursuing his dream of becoming a therapist.
- We discuss what it felt like the first time sitting down with a client as a therapist. It can be very intimidating going from books to boots on the ground.
- We talk about the importance of having a therapist or counselor as a presence to experience your emotions with you instead of just trying to fix or comfort you.
