The days are growing shorter and daylight is lessening, which means seasonal depression—also known as Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD)—can affect so many of us. Especially for those grieving during the holiday season.Let’s talk about the difficulties associated with the holidays and this overall darker season of life—literally and emotionally! I’ll give you some practical tips and strategies to cope with the depressive symptoms that come with shorter and colder days.We’ll finish off with one of my favorite grounded breathing exercises to help you navigate whatever is coming up for you this season. This episode is all about bringing you comfort, understanding, and actionable tools to deal with both seasonal depression, and grief.
