OMN E084 | Fighting Fires Of The Mind & Body:

John Doyle - Born in 1955, to an immigrant Italian mother he survived due to my fast fists and tongue and was fortunate that his father’s family prevented them from starvation and care. Although, mainly happy, his childhood was dominated by hunger and poverty, living in a slum. He’s a classic case of someone who should have been dead or in prison by now. Over the years he became somewhat successful, becoming one of the youngest and longest serving fire chiefs and working with a brilliant team changed the model to stop fires to save people rather than rescue dead bodies. His tireless work achieved staggering reductions in fire and road deaths over the years. Now he spends his time helping others as a coach and therapist and was partner in a business support group that donated 100% of profits to local charitable causes. Feel completely blessed as I know what enough looks like. He’s also an author wanting to share his lessons to help others and because of the memory of hunger, every single red cent of the book proceeds will go to local FoodBanks or similar charities.
