In the U.S., an estimated 6,000 women daily and more than 2 million women yearly reach menopause – the point when you haven’t had a menstrual cycle for a year. Millions more all over the world are going through the menopausal transition. While transitioning through menopause is natural and normal it’s not easy and is often misunderstood. Today’s show is going to help clear up some of the confusion and provide solutions for your most pressing menopausal complaints. I’m talking with two leaders in the menopause field, Claire Gill, Founder of the National Menopause Foundation and Kate Codrington, author of Second Spring. We’ll be sharing the latest information about menopause as well as results of the National Menopause Foundation and Bank of America Breakthrough the Stigma Survey. Plus, you’ll learn about the launching of the Women’s Midlife Health Policy Institute and how you can get involved.
