Biography:

Dr. Jerry Wintrob is a holistic optometrist who has been in private practice for over 30 years. Whereas Traditional eye care focuses on treating symptoms through ever increasing prescriptions, Dr. Wintrob's practice uses many forms of holistic medicine (including, you know it, light and sound) to identify and treat the root causes of symptoms. Dr. Wintrob believes that a vital aspect of vision is the relationship between the mind and body, meaning that emotional problems can manifest in visual symptoms, which we will be discussing in greater detail in today's interview. Dr. Wintrob received his Doctorate in Optometry from the State University of New York College of Optometry in 1983 and continues to see patients today through his private practice based in New York.
