October 18th is Menopause Awareness Day! The theme for 2024 is Menopause Hormone Therapy (MHT). Since 2009, October has been designated as World Menopause Awareness Month, and SheMD is proud to be a part of the conversation to raise awareness about the experiences and challenges of menopause. This mini episode aims to educate our listeners on the physical, emotional, and psychological aspects of this natural life stage, promoting understanding and empathy. We hope this day encourages open conversations, sharing of resources, and support for those undergoing this transition, as well as helping to dismantle stigma and empower individuals to seek information and care.
