Putting ourselves first benefits everyone. The more we have, the more we have to offer ourselves and others. When I say have, having could be anything; money wisdom kindness, talent, compassion, anything. I have a friend who experiences great amounts of joy. The more joy she experiences, the more joy I and everyone else experiences being around her as an example.
