If you have ever served in a unit that rucks as its primary method of transportation, you may have noticed three different groups. A group that could outrun everyone but only ruck at a mediocre pace. A group that could out-ruck everyone but ran at a mediocre pace. Then there is the hybrid guy who is just above average in both.
