Hello, my loves! This episode is raw, real, and recorded in the chaos of life as a new mama. I’m sharing a life update and answering your questions about motherhood, eating disorder recovery, and everything in between. From breastfeeding challenges to navigating body changes postpartum, and from recovery fears to practical tools for freedom, I’m bringing you all the juicy insights and honest reflections. Whether you're curious about how I’m balancing it all (spoiler: I’m not!), or you're looking for guidance in your own recovery journey, this episode is for you. What’s Inside This Episode: [00:00] Life Update: A candid chat about navigating motherhood, sleepless nights, and surrendering to the new rhythm of life with my baby girl. [00:03] Birth Story Preview: Why I’m saving the full story of my unmedicated home birth for a separate, dedicated episode. [00:05] Breastfeeding Realities: The surprises, struggles, and surrender that came with combining breastfeeding, bottle-feeding, and pumping. [00:10] Motherhood & Recovery: How my recovery prepared me to embrace the changes of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum life with trust and gratitude. [00:15] Q&A Part 1 - Motherhood: Answering your questions about: [00:24] Q&A Part 2 - Recovery: Deep dives into your biggest recovery questions, including: [00:41] Q&A Part 3 - Life: Thoughts on managing loneliness, finding pleasure beyond food, creating a meaningful recovery “why,” and navigating relationships while healing. Key Takeaways: Motherhood teaches surrender: Slowing down, letting go, and being present have been life-changing lessons for me in this new chapter. Food freedom is possible for everyone: Recovery requires honoring your body’s needs, trusting the process, and letting go of control—even when it feels scary. Fear is part of the process: Moving through the discomfort is how we grow, and on the other side is the freedom we all deserve. Recovery isn’t linear or perfect: It’s messy, but it’s worth it. Keep showing up for yourself every single day. Hey Queens! In this episode, I’m talking about a question I get asked all the time: “What the f**k do I actually eat when I stop restricting?” It’s inspired by a lovely listener, Hedi, and so many of you who’ve shared the same struggle. I’m here to reassure you that, yes, it can feel paralyzing when you finally drop all your food rules—but there’s freedom on the other side. Eat Whatever the F k You Want** You’ve let go of restriction, so the world of food can suddenly feel huge and overwhelming. There’s no “wrong” way to reintroduce foods—give yourself permission to honor what you truly want. If you’re not sure what you want, try checking in with your inner child or imagine you’re no longer afraid of any food—then see what comes up. No Food Is Off-Limits Let go of the idea that certain foods are “bad.” Every food has its place. You don’t need to earn your food or feel guilty. Guilt only shows up when you believe you’ve done something wrong, so unlearn all that diet-culture BS. Follow Your Hunger—Even If You’re Not Hungry Start by eating however much your body asks for, without counting portions or calculating macros. If you’ve been restricting for years, your hunger cues may be all over the place. Eating at regular intervals—even when you’re not physically starving—is part of rebuilding trust with your body. Challenge Safe Foods Relying only on “safe” foods keeps you in a restrictive mindset. Pick one food that scares you—like pasta or chocolate—and give it a try. Discomfort is normal; it’s also where the magic of freedom happens. Take Inspiration from Free Eaters If you feel lost about “normal” eating, look to someone with a truly non-restrictive, intuitive style. I shared a sample day where breakfast could be toast with peanut butter, a mid-morning donut if desired, a satisfying lunch, an afternoon snack, and a flexible dinner—without overthinking or planning. Enjoy Your Food After years of fear, let yourself rediscover pleasure in eating. Savor the flavors, eat slowly if it feels good, and notice how each bite tastes without shame or guilt. I’ve been where you are, terrified and convinced “going all in” meant I’d lose control forever. But by trusting my body, I now eat a naturally balanced diet without obsessing—chocolate is just chocolate, not a forbidden treat I can’t stop thinking about. It might feel messy and chaotic at first, but it gets easier. Unconditional permission to eat is the path to true food freedom. Eat anything and everything your body craves, and keep reminding yourself: you can’t do this wrong . This episode is all about letting go of rules and letting your body guide you. You’ll find your equilibrium as you practice. If you enjoyed this and found it helpful, I’d love your support! Please leave a five-star rating on your podcast app, subscribe, and share with a friend—or hit “like” and “subscribe” on YouTube if you’re watching there. Welcome to today’s episode of the podcast, where we dive deep into an incredible story of resilience, recovery, and true transformation. I’m joined by my previous client, Rocki, whose journey from struggling with severe eating disorders to finding freedom is one that will truly inspire you. In this episode titled *"Breaking Free: Rocki's Journey from 60 Laxatives a Day to Food & Body Freedom,"* we explore the serious realities of laxative abuse, compulsive exercise, and using alcohol as a coping mechanism—layers of the eating disorder that Rocki bravely faced head-on. Through Rocki’s story, we uncover the power of healing, from her experiences with bulimia to ultimately finding complete freedom. Together, we discuss how her journey began, the turning points along the way, and the freedom she has now found living beyond these struggles. This conversation is a powerful reminder that no matter how deeply embedded the behaviours may seem, freedom from disordered eating is absolutely possible. So let’s dive in as Rocki shares her path to reclaiming life, body, and self-love. I hope this episode gives you hope, encouragement, and the belief that, yes, true freedom from laxative abuse and disordered eating is within reach. Welcome back to The Body Love Binge podcast! I’m excited to share another powerful interview with you today, where I had the pleasure of being on Livia Sara’s podcast . This is part 2 of our chat on all things body image, bingeing, and how to create a life you absolutely love. Our conversation was so rich and full of insights, I knew I had to bring it to my listeners. In this episode, we dive into some of the most important and often misunderstood topics in eating disorder recovery, including: The fear of “letting yourself go” and losing control around food Intuitive eating versus intuition eating—what’s the difference and why does it matter? How to find your natural, happy weight without ever restricting yourself again The role that “junk food” plays in eating disorder recovery and why it’s vital Why restriction becomes impossible after experiencing anorexia How to rebuild trust in your body after trauma Fear of becoming a sugar addict and developing diabetes during recovery The difference between needing recovery and truly wanting it We also discuss some deeply personal topics, like: My experience of gaining weight while fully recovered from an eating disorder Why it’s important to take recovery advice with a grain of salt What it’s like being married to someone who’s autistic and how that impacts my own journey This conversation is raw, real, and incredibly close to my heart, and I’m so grateful to Livia for creating a space for these essential discussions. If you’ve ever struggled with the fear of losing control or wondered how to trust your body again after trauma, this episode is a must-listen. Let’s get into it! This podcast episode features Victoria interviewing her husband Wouter. Listeners can expect vulnerably authentic conversations around personal development, spirituality, relationships, body image, and self-love. He takes an intensely direct yet compassionate approach to helping clients "get over their bullshit stories" in order to live more powerfully aligned lives. His bestselling books explain his methodology further. Key Quotes: "Attractiveness goes beyond the physical body. Attractiveness is the energy source she's portraying." [00:21:08] "Our relationship works because it's based on 1+1=3, not me giving you something and expecting the exact same level back." [00:10:59] "I'm the coach, but I'm also not the coach...when we just live life, we just live life." [01:21:37] "Everything in life is bullshit. So why would we be living in the story which is hurting us, disempowering us, making us weak?" [01:34:39] "Happiness and being who you want to be is a choice you can make right now." In this podcast episode, Victoria Kleinsman talks about overcoming the fear of weight gain. She shares her personal struggles with this fear and offers practical tips on how we can move past it to live fuller, happier lives. Main discussion points: - Weight gain is often seen as a marker of personal failure in society. This breeds deep fears in many people (Victoria shares that she'd rather have died than gain weight). - The fear manifests in behaviours like chronic dieting, bingeing-purging cycles, obsessive weighing, etc. But these approaches rarely work long-term. - Fear of weight gain is not innate; it's learned. It links to deeper fears of being unloved and rejected. - The fear can become self-fulfilling - stress promotes fat storage. Fear of weight gain causes stress leading to actual weight gain. - Shift focus to self-care habits that gradually diffuse the fear - pursuing passions, spending time with body-positive people, speaking kindly to yourself. - Understand that you can live happily at many weights. Chasing thinness often sacrifices what truly matters - intimacy, meaning, fulfillment. Key quotes: "I would rather have died than gain weight." [00:01:39] "We think we'll be better when we're thinner. It's time to claim back your worthiness, my love." [00:08:30] "Thinness is not an innate human need. Love and acceptance is."
