In this video, we're going to discuss the importance of properly fueling as an endurance athlete. After working with athletes and being one myself, I have found several critical pieces that are a part of a fueling and hydration routine. And I get asked about these all the time. We are going to concentrate on how to use carbohydrates to fuel yourself as an ironman athlete or a triathlete. Dr. Kirstin is going to cover how many carbs you should be consuming, when you should consume them, and from what source of carbs you should be using in races.

If you're planning on participating in a triathlon, an ironman race, or any sort of endurance competition, then you need to be aware of the importance of fueling properly. This video will teach you all about one important type of fuel that a triathlete should be consuming, as well as the importance of timing and dosage.
