Politicians and political movements are constantly reinventing themselves, and few have done it as effectively as Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In 2019, Modi's BJP came to power with more hard-line, anti-minority rhetoric, which, in some ways, mirrors the campaign run by Donald Trump in returning to the White House.
