In this episode, I'm chatting with Julia Aynsley. Julia is is a mother of three young children and a practicing pediatric occupational therapist for the past 10 years. Through her work, Julia supports families holistically to get to the root of what might be preventing a child from living their best life. She evaluates children in the motor, sensory, behavioral, social, play, cognitive and self-care spheres. Julia’s mission is to support parents in finding what’s aligned for their family, and she herself is on this very same journey at home each day.
In this episode you'll learn:
  • Supporting our sensory sensitive kids
  • How our children communicate through their behavior and what we can learn from it
  • Each of our top tips for creating family harmony
  • The value of imperfection, especially as cycle breakers

A radical mother is a woman poised in her power ready to disrupt cycles of generational trauma running through her family like wildfire. She's working to improve her life, the lives of her children, and shape the landscape of her community. If that's you - you're in the right place.
This podcast is designed to connect you with resources, inspiration, and the reminder that you are not alone as you embark on your journey of radical mothering.
I’m your host Christa Bevan and I’m a nervous system educator for cycle breaker moms as well as a certified TRE (trauma releasing exercises) provider, and a trauma-informed yoga instructor. And of course, a fellow Radical Mother. My approach to this work blends neuroscience backed tools and heart-centered intuition.
