“I AM NOT OK!”
Imagine you've studied, graduated from college, and worked diligently to climb the ranks in one of the country's largest and most prestigious financial institutions...only to risk it all on a day in May of 2020 by the simple push of the "SEND" button on your computer!
Our next guest, Johnathan Hill, sent an email, better yet, an opus that reverberated throughout the floors of the organization he worked for. On the day George Floyd was wrongly murdered, Johnathan Hill reached a breaking point where he could no longer sit idle and put aside the social injustices, misrepresentations, economic disparities, and the simple lack of inclusion that people of color were experiencing daily in this country. When asked how he was doing, Johnathan would often reply, "I'm OK," however, on May 25th, 2020, that reply changed to a loud and resounding, "I AM NOT OK!"
