Despite what you may have learned from diet culture, restricting yourself to bland, joyless diet food is the most effective way to slow your weight loss down.
When you're trying to force yourself to stick to a diet of dry chicken and boring salads, your willpower runs out, you start to resent your meal plan, you hate your life, and eventually, you quit.
Restriction is not the answer.
