On this episode Matt sits down with Hohm. Hohm is a music producer, sound healer and multi-instrumentalist that creates both downtempo bass and uplifting house music. His music is hard-hitting, dreamy, and euphoric all at the same time. He is known for how he combines deep, heavy, bass with meditative soundscapes that take listeners on a dynamic journey.
During the conversation Hohm tells the story of coming to the spiritual path through a series of plant medicine experiences, and discovering sound healing after a sit with Ayahuasca. The two then discuss bass music, the artists that introduced them to the genre, and how Hohm started producing. They then talk about a new invention coming out of the Austin tech space: Sound Beds.
