Those who grow up in the church and go on to serve as youth workers will inevitably think about the discipleship experience they had as a teenager (or the lack thereof). Moreover, the number of youth workers without a church background, let alone seminary training, is steadily growing. How can we set youth workers up to provide a solid path of discipleship while emphasizing the relational connection with students?
