DEFINITIONS
- Arbitration/Arbitrator - An independent person or body officially appointed to settle a dispute.
- Smart Contract - a computer program or a transaction protocol which is intended to automatically execute, control or document legally relevant events and actions according to the terms of a contract or an agreement.
- Decentralized Autonomous Organization - an organization represented by rules encoded as a computer program that is transparent, controlled by the organization members and not influenced by a central government.
- DeFi (Decentralized Finance) - An experimental form of finance that does not rely on central financial intermediaries such as brokerages, exchanges, or banks, and instead utilizes blockchains, the most common being Ethereum.
- ETFs (Exchange Traded Fund (ETF) - A type of security that involves a collection of securities—such as stocks—that often tracks an underlying index, although they can invest in any number of industry sectors or use various strategies.
