This week we are conversing about the mindset around food addictions. We are not licensed professionals in the realm of food addictions, we have however dealt with this on our own at different times in our lives. We are sharing our insight and perspectives on how something as readily available as food, can be addictive. Food addiction is HARD to work through as it is an addiction that, unlike other addictions, typically doesn't have an illegal component to it (Ie. alcohol can lead to drunk driving, gambling can lead to financial destruction, drugs are illegal, etc.).
This might be a touchy subject, but one that we feel some level of awareness can be beneficial for everyone.
