Manage episode 399239254 series 3497784
*Trigger warning: This episode contains references to personal experiences of self-harm, suicidal ideations, substance abuse and sexual assault.
On this episode of Paved with Gold, we are joined by the ever inspiring Iz (they/them) to discuss their brave journey with anorexia nervosa, trauma, being unhoused and self harm. Now recovered, Iz talks about how they are using their platform to break down stigmas, inspire thousands and create a community for who live with similar illnesses. Plus their adorable assistance dog, Cobie, makes a cameo or two.
*Please note, since this episode was recorded, Iz has come out as non-binary. The names and pronouns used in this episode reflected how Iz identified at the time. Iz now uses they/them pronouns. This episode was kept live with Iz's permission.
