...the last thing I heard was "stealing time. Let's start with that one." In the past the phrase was "let's begin..." & this was a shortened version of "...brain drains & tailspins" since everything was poetry! I think it's partially because poetry is audio/visual, I taught multi-modal literacy & word families (cat, bat, sat, mat, chat, stat) & I also think because I lost words that sounded like something else. Due to the word r---, lost make, fake, and plAy (A being a long A for the grAde the school would give students by easier science grAding scAle & teachers attitudes that it's easier to just give an A since these parents are fierce. Thank goodness there was. warning before hand---the first administration who warned us every Wednesday at the principal meeting, don't give in to these parents) became a constant word to use to describe ptsd as memories on replayHaving the word one back which is a useful pronouns to say anyONE and then it's not you you you you you which I say a lot.
I think we'll start at the 1st admin who had a principal meeting & the 2nd who did not. Every teacher talked about it & interesting no one complained about the 1st administration anymore. They didn't know how GOOD they had it.
