In this episode, we are looking at the world through the eyes of Sharon Neiss-Arbess, who is a storyteller, writer, mom, and resilience mentor.

Sharon shares with us the hurdles she has gone through and her inspirations and motivations to finish her books. She also teaches us the importance of experiencing struggles, as a means to learn how to be able to bounce back. Listen to hear her concerns of having writer’s block to being patient, from making mistakes and dedicating time to her craft, not being psychologically able to release her novel, and taking a long time to finish her masterpiece to having that feeling of bliss, happiness, and receiving great feedback.
She also gives us a glimpse of her books “Me and My So-Called Friends” and “Get Up”. She also shares how one of her books has inspired the Brave the Waves Program - A Program for Building Resiliency, a program that addresses the challenges that teens and middle schools face today.
