In this 7 part series I will be visiting with several different men whom I have a lot of respect for and many who have been on the podcast previously and are successful runners and athletes. This series will touch on faith and the importance it has in their daily lives but also as athletes, fathers and husbands. We will touch many different areas dependent upon the flow of the conversation. In week 1 I visit with Mike Outler from Georgia. Mike is a former Army Airborne Ranger and pastor. He has been involved in sports his entire life and he shares his transformation from being a rough and tough Army Ranger to a pastor dealing with church growth and personal adversity to how faith has been important to him through his entire life. This episode will be a little different than the others in the series since i had not previously discussed Mike's background and wanted to capture that for the listeners. Keep an open mind and heart and I hope you will be encouraged by something in this episode.
