Nikki initially aimed to cover 60km each day, aiming to surpass the men's record. However, the reality of the terrain and conditions proved more demanding than anticipated. Battling warmer weather, bustling traffic, and physical strain, Nikki found herself behind schedule within the first few days. Despite the setbacks, she persisted, pushing through the pain and adjusting her expectations along the way.

But what does it take to get to the start line? In Nikki's case is was 10 years in the planning, a lot of training, injury, dissapointment and sacrifice. In this podcast you'll hear what it takes and the commitment involved.
