Melatonin gibt es als Spray, in Form von Tabletten oder sogar in Gummibärchen. Seit 2020 sind mehr rezeptfreie Schlaf- und Beruhigungsmittel verkauft worden, darunter auch Melatonin-Produkte. Aber was genau bewirkt Melatonin im Körper? Und hilft es wirklich beim Einschlafen?
